Dhaka Fiber Net Ltd. is a joint stock registered company. Dhaka Fiber Net Ltd. incorporated in the state of Dhaka in December-2009 and the company’s principal/registered office located in 89/2, West Panthapath, Haque Chamber, suit # 10-A & B, Dhaka-1215. Dhaka Fiber Net Ltd., which is known as “DFN” is an IT enabled company. All operations, from administration to product development, take place at this corporate office location. The company plans to move to a bigger facility as it expands and its staff grows beyond its current full-time employees.

Internet of Things (IoT), current years has seen some dramatic changes in the internet world. The one area of the “Internet” that has not seen any signs of slowing down is the growth in users.

In the context of globalization and advanced information and communication technology, the concept of development is inevitably associated with the application of the built-in capabilities of computer as a whole. Bangladesh, being a developing country is gaining its momentum in this regard.

DFN is a company driven to provide customers with a complete solution to their entire current and future internet and private network needs. The company’s customer base includes all consumers and all small- to medium-sized businesses, including start-ups.

DFN currently delivers internet services to dedicated and home/office broadband customers and will commence to sell FTTx services by April of 2016. The company also delivers VAS contents to mobile customers using Telco Network (GrameenPhone, Airtel, Robi and Banglalink) through Short Code 16369. The company currently hosts approximately 25 websites and has five co-located servers. Additionally, the company is evaluating e-commerce software, looking for the solution which provides the greatest flexibility while allowing operations to remain simple for its customers.
